Trivium and In Flames will team up for a tour of Europe, the UK and Ireland in 2027.

The metal giants will kick off the run with a performance at Dublin's 3Arena on March 29, followed by shows at Glasgow's OVO Hydro, Manchester's Co-op Live, London's Alexandra Palace and Cardiff's Utilita Arena between March 31 and April 4. 

The trek will then head across the continent, with stops confirmed in Brussels, Paris, Hamburg, Dresden, Berlin, Esch-sur-Alzette, Bern, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Amsterdam, Prague, Vienna, Stuttgart, Munich, Bamberg, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Tampere, Riga and Katowice from April 6 to May 7.

The tour will have a different headliner depending on the region. Grammy-nominated Trivium (pictured) top the UK and Ireland run, with Swedish melodeath pioneers In Flames as special guests. In Flames will headline in Scandinavia, with Trivium as special guests. Across the rest of mainland Europe, both bands will co-headline, while Paleface Swiss and VOLA will open thoughout the run. Trivium said:

Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 9am BST/10am CEST this Friday (August 28).

The announcement follows news of Trivium's The Crown In The Grave Tour across North America this winter, featuring support from In Flames, Orbit Culture, Fit For An Autopsy and Frozen Soul. Before that, they'll join Lamb Of God for a co-headline tour of Australia in October. The Florida metallers released their most recent album, 'In The Court Of The Dragon', in 2021, and have since put out the 'Struck Dead' EP last year.

In Flames released their most recent studio album, 'Foregone', in 2023, followed by a bonus edition in 2024. That same year, singer Anders Fridén collaborated with Machine Head on the single These Scars Won't Define Us, alongside members of Lacuna Coil and Unearth.
